#Here are the steps and modifications that you need to make in order to allow
#users to select their own search radius.  Important note: You should use
#a <select> menu to restrict the options, as in the case below



#MODIFICATION TO YOUR SEARCH SNIPPET

#STEP 1. Insert the following into your HTML search snippet INSIDE the <form>
#snippet (i.e. after <form...> and before </form>).  You can change the mile
#values to whatever you want, just don't set the low end smaller than 15
#because of the center of two Zip codes that border on each other may be more
#that 15 miles apart.  Also, if you are on an older server, or one that runs
#slow, don't set the upper range more than 300 miles or you could put a strain
#on the server.  Remove the table codes if your search snippet is not in table
#format.  All non-numbers are chopped out by the script, so "miles" is ignored:

#STEP 2.  Paste the following immediately before Step B begins

#A6. If distance selection is combined with map, extract distance

#STEP 3. REPLACE Step B7 with the following:

#B7. If the User does not select a search radius, you must provide a default radius
#in miles here.  Do not set it above 300.
